Rudiment Coach — Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of Rudiment Coach (the "app") from Oregon Code & Design, LLC ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these terms add to it.
Your license
You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's rules allow. Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify it, except where the law allows.
A practice tool
Rudiment Coach helps you practice. It isn't a substitute for a teacher, and its grading is a guide rather than a judgment of your playing. Scores depend on your pad, microphone, sticks and setup.
Practice safely
Warm up, take breaks, and stop if anything hurts. Keep the volume of the click and play-through at a safe level, especially with headphones. You practice at your own risk.
What you make
Patterns you create, sounds you import and results you record are yours. When you import or share them, make sure you have the right to use what's in them.
Game Center
Leaderboards and achievements run on Apple's Game Center under Apple's terms. Please play fair: we may remove scores that weren't really played.
Purchases
If the app offers purchases, Apple processes them and the App Store's terms cover payment and refunds.
Other companies' names
The rudiments follow the Percussive Arts Society International Drum Rudiments. BopPad and other product names belong to their owners. Rudiment Coach isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them (see Acknowledgements).
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be in the app and on our website with a new date, and using the app afterwards means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
