MIDI Forge — Terms of Use
By downloading, installing, or using MIDI Forge (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License
Oregon Code & Design, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to the Apple App Store terms.
Intended use
MIDI Forge is designed for music production, live performance, sound design, and creative control applications. It processes MIDI, OSC, and HID data in real time. The App is not intended for safety-critical or mission-critical applications.
What you create
Presets, strip presets, insert presets, and controller mappings you create in the App belong to you. You may share or distribute them freely.
Network features
OSC and Ableton Link features communicate over your local network. You are responsible for the security of your network. MIDI Forge sends data only to addresses you configure.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by law.
Updates
We may release updates to fix bugs, add features, or address security issues. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Real-time MIDI, OSC, and HID processing depends on your device’s performance capabilities and on the hardware and software you connect it to.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including but not limited to lost performances, data loss, or equipment damage.
Intellectual property
MIDI Forge and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Oregon Code & Design, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
