MIDI Forge — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Oregon Code & Design, LLC handles information in MIDI Forge for iPad.
Data collection
MIDI Forge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All MIDI, OSC, and HID data is processed locally on your device and is never sent to external servers.
Network communication
OSC features use local network communication (UDP) as configured by you. MIDI Forge connects only to the IP addresses and ports you specify. Ableton Link uses local network discovery to synchronise tempo with nearby devices. No data is sent to the internet.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is used solely for connecting MIDI controllers and HID game controllers. No personal data is transmitted via Bluetooth.
Where your data lives
Presets and settings are stored locally on your device, in the app’s Documents directory. This data is included in iCloud backups if you have device backups enabled. Deleting the app removes it.
What we don’t do
MIDI Forge does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. No usage data is collected. It does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data.
Crash reports
If you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may forward anonymised crash reports to us. These contain no personal data, and we receive nothing if you leave that setting off.
Children
MIDI Forge is a music production tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
