Labyra — Privacy Policy
Oregon Code & Design, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Labyra mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
Information we collect
Labyra is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All preferences — including your chosen root note, scale, accent color, and saved presets — are stored locally on your device and are never sent to our servers or any third party.
Analytics and tracking
Labyra does not use any analytics frameworks, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking tools. We do not track your usage patterns, session duration, or any other behavioral data.
Audio and microphone
Labyra generates audio locally on your device using its built-in synthesizer. The Still Pool and Prometheus’ Forge use the device microphone to detect ambient sound levels and breath. Microphone input is analyzed in real time on your device to measure volume only. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is only active during a session and is deactivated when you leave or complete the experience.
Health data
When paired with an Apple Watch, Labyra may read heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, and wrist temperature during a session. This data is displayed on screen and saved locally to your session history. Health data is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. You can delete individual session records at any time.
Third-party services
Labyra does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. If you choose to share the App or contact support, those actions are handled by your device’s built-in sharing and email capabilities, which are governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.
Data storage
All data created by the App — including presets, settings, mood tags, and session history (The Blueprints) — is stored in your device’s local storage using standard iOS mechanisms. This data is not backed up to our servers. It may be included in your iCloud or iTunes backups according to your device settings.
Children’s privacy
Labyra does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The App contains no user accounts, no in-app purchases, and no advertising.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
