Dog’s Best Friend — Terms of Use
Acceptance
By downloading or using Dog’s Best Friend (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is published by Oregon Code & Design, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Purchases
The app is free to use for one dog, with every feature included. A single, one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited dogs. There are no subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store’s terms; any refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Estimates, not advice
The app is a personal tracking and organization tool. Distances, routes, calorie figures, and other measurements are estimates and may be inaccurate; do not rely on them for medical, safety, or emergency purposes. The app is not a substitute for professional veterinary care.
Your content and backups
You are responsible for the content you add and for keeping your own backups (for example, via iCloud). We are not responsible for any loss of content.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
